Introducing our meticulously crafted Barn Owl Boxes, born out of a passion for conserving these magnificent birds of prey. When we first installed a display sample in an oak tree by our gate, against all odds and advice, the barn owls graciously embraced it as their new home. However, their stay was abruptly disrupted by the presence of a BT engineer, diligently pruning the trees with a chainsaw from atop a cherry picker. Startled by the sight, he exclaimed, “Two big white birds just flew out of that box thing!” Determined not to let this deter us, we swiftly relocated another “box thing” to a tree away from the bustling activity.

Over the years, our Barn Owl Boxes have become a cherished sanctuary for these enchanting creatures, hosting five successful broods and currently providing a safe haven for a thriving family.

Crafted with utmost care and precision, the frame and cladding of our Barn Owl Boxes are meticulously constructed from pressure-treated red pine. This premium wood ensures durability and longevity, withstanding the test of time and the elements. For added resilience, we have used marine-grade ply for the flooring, complete with thoughtfully designed drainage points to maintain a dry and comfortable interior for our feathered friends.

To ensure a seamless installation process, the back wall of the Barn Owl Box comes pre-drilled, offering multiple fixing point options that allow for a secure fit to the chosen tree. For your convenience, we provide three 100mm screw fix bolts, guaranteeing stability and peace of mind.
